Live Music from Spinster

After unearthing their Amish grandfather’s accordion two years ago, sisters Rosalie, Rachel, and Amelia converged in Chattanooga to form the acoustic pop trio,Spinster. Spinster weaves front porch familial harmony with toilet-brushed hip hop beats, epic accordion and glockenspiel solos, and melodic upright bass-lines.Drawing upon the likes of the The Bangles, The Roches, and The Andrews Sisters, Spinster revives and mashes up old and new classics. Their start as a cover band built a wide bank of sounds and feels, and originals range from sparse acoustic banjo to pumped-up edgy pop.
